Visual & Performing Arts

At Madison Rose Lane Elementary, students in the Visual & Performing Arts program are immersed in an artistic environment where they can choose from a variety of electives. Art, music and choir, dance, physical education, and theatre offer students an opportunity to discover new talents and passions.

Professional dance floors, dedicated theatre spaces, and teachers certified in the arts provide students with the ideal environment to explore their artistic endeavors. Additionally, Madison collaborates with local high schools to align advanced classes with high school curriculum, preparing students for accelerated elective options once they move on. Through Madison's Visual & Performing Arts program, students develop creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Students can become eligible for advance dance and theatre classes at Madison No. 1 Middle School which offers the Performing & Visual Arts program for grades 5-8.

The Rose Lane Children’s Choir performs at a variety of school, district, and community events, including performances at local retirement homes. Students can also participate in multimedia and work on the daily announcements and yearbook. Rose Lane also offers dance and clogging for students in all grades.

Madison Rose Lane offers a variety of additional after-school programs for students as well. Please contact the school’s front office for more information!
